Yes, I'll back that up. Basically during the pandemic when they made playing Go from home a viable and fun option, lots of people too disabled to play regularly got a chance to engage with the game and really liked it, but as the pandemic progressed they began to slowly remove features until the shoe dropped and they took a bunch of stuff away/added restrictions.

Some pandemic changes were kept, but overall the QoL for the gane has gone down.

Some changes/removals include: Remote Raid pass price increasing, Remote Raid limit, the introduction of Ahadow raids where you cant remotely join, locking mons to Elite raids you cant remotely join, reducing freebies, and shrinking the circle of interaction (though this is one of the few changes that was reverted due to fan outcry)

I found it to be hitting the thresholds I need it too. Like 2-3HKOd a few Amongus, OHKO Primarina, and forces a lot of people to bring out Pelipper to beat it, but that would just give me rain to abuse lol.
