Save before talking to munchlax, feed munchlax berries so he shows what outbreaks are in that area, screenshot it, restart with the screenshot saved so you dont use up the berries. And quickly go to the ones you want to check

Team Rocket Go (Legally distinct from regular Team Rocket somehow) has Pokemon with boosted stats in PVP battles that are computer controlled. When you defeat them you can catch one of their mons (Usually the 1st mon they send out against you) and its "Corrupted" as a Shadow Pokemon.
Shadow Pokemon do about 20% more damage, but take 20% more damage than non-Shadow version of the same mon. So if you get a high IV one its worth it too power up since raids are primarily won through DPS. Also they cant Mega Evolve and only have the default move of Frustration unless you unlock a 2nd move/some event allows you to clear Frustration with a TM.
Shadow mons cost more to power up. However you can purify them and it causes them to gain +2 to all IVs, and power up costs for candy and stardust are reduced by 20%. But their damage output/intake returns to normal levels.
This can stack with a Lucky trade too making them like 60% cheaper to power up. But thats a whole other rabbit hole.
