ehh i don't really mind Ultras having different forms/powers, it brings some variety/strategy.
it's the designs of the the forms themselves that matter to me.
a lot of the newer designs are very "cluttered", for lack of a better word, filled with extraneous details that try to be "cool".
shiny headgear, fancy body patterns, colorful chest symbols, etc.
even the moves themselves tend to be needlessly "power-ranger"ly with all the poses and long wind-up.

and then the bigger issue is the merchandising.

Oranguru + Hands leads can be dealt with by countering with Chien + since you can fake out their Oranguru before their Hands moves, and even if they Fake out on Chien instead you get the KO the next turn.

Farigaraf is def the one lead thats the most troublesome, usually depends on their partner at that point.

Chien is MVP dealing with TR because of it having Protect + Sash.

Cres is similar to Oranguru, however if they're being too passive/you threaten their possible switch in after they get TR up I usually try to/can set up a Sinistcha which deals with Ursaluna ok, especially when you pop Tera Steel, eat a Bloodmoon and KO it with Matcha + chip

In case something seems like it has a "TR mode" and a standard/fast mode, I lead Torn + Hands so I can fake out and taunt the setter. But I havent seen Mental Herb that much.
