I imagine most people doing a challenge can't wait for the ability to have Koraidon/Miraidon just climb walls, since there's only two mons you can find in the Great Crater area: Magnezone (Which is pretty cool), and Garchomp.

Yes, you can encounter a Garchomp normally. Yes, they are way more common up there than you'd think.
