i watch a lot of like content about theory around game and something I think has helped me a lot as a player is this
when you are playing something, you want to understand when you are strong when you are weak ect ect...
for example lets say im playing fast 9 arcanists, which is basically a board with a bunch of arcanists, annie as main carry, tibbers as main tank whatever...
with this comp the ideas is I should win out if I hit my board on level 9 which should be stage 5-1 or 5-2, this means I need enough econ and player health to live till 5-1 or 5-2,
so the 2 main ways I can do this are being weak stage 2 , strong stage 3 , weak stage 4, win out stage 5, OR I could
strong stage 2 and early stage 3, weak stage 4 and win out stage 5
my favorite aswell is weak stage 2, strong stage 3 (2* 3 cost should carry you), strong early stage 4, weak later then win out stage 5
or lets take for example fast 8 yunara frejlord,
weak stage 1,2,3 is possible, but you should prob stabalize around a 2*3 cost stage 3 since boards just outcap you this set (in previous sets you could theoretcially win out with 2 2 star 4cost, but this set boards are mega powerful and u need like a 2 star 5 cost or hell even 2.
but the idea is then roll down 4-2 for yunara strong stage 4 and then stage 5 you are strong enough to top 4, MAYBE win if we hit something crazy also depending on relative like tempo of lobby (how much shit game gives us for pbe, augment quality ect...)
