The Hitbox and other things about the leviathans ( Thalassophobia)

very sorry to bother , but i have something to say about the Thalassophobia mod : just the hitbox of the leviathans are just not adapted to there size like with the colossoteus you need to hit his teeth to make damage and the whole body just can't be hit. I also think that the leviathans need to have a lot more detection range because they are no more a menace when you have a boat. i think that they nedd to be a lot more fast . And finally i begin you to do something about their despawn thing because that just to annoying when you just see the leviathans just despawn in front of you. don't make them a boss bar just make them more rare and they don't despawn.

So to conclude i think the change needed are :
-the hitbox of the leviathans 🎯
-their detection range have to be increase👁️
-they need to be faster
-they should spawn more rarely but don't despawn

apart from all of this i think that thalassophobia is a very cool and nice mod and he become insane with deeper oceans.

i think he can because he make the corpse of the tripods just don't despawn he can just make the same thing but for the leviathans no ?

Making the hitboxes of the leviathans bigger will end up in them not attacking you if your swiming on the ocean surface. I had to make it smaller like that so they can attack you better and mcreator doesnt have good options for hitboxes. Only in square cube sizes

Detection range could be increased, yes, but still... the mobs shouldn't be able to see you from a high distance because even if you are on land, they would target you which wouldnt look so good...

Faster? They are already fast, and they even got dolphines grace to be much faster

If they spawn more rarely but doesnt despawn, they would fill up the entire ocean since they dont despawn, even if they spawn rarely.

Anyways, still thanks for the feedback. Im trying my best on mods but mcreator has his limitations and I'm very sorry that I can't add everything as wished

I still think some hitboxes should be a bit bigger since colossoteus is extremely difficult to hit with ranged weapons due to it's current hitbox only being in it's bottom jaw. Could you maybe make it's hitbox a little taller?

Mosasaur and dunkleosteus seem to have ok hitboxes, colossoteus and megalodon have weird ones.

Given that the truly giant mobs like colossoteus are rare, it shouldn't be too bad. I think being able to hit them in battle is more important anyway.
