I was also looking into the technique for doing in 1 shot. What i know is, you start the burn at AP or PE and facing Prograde. I normally not facing Maneuver as time goes, the Maneuver no longer the Prograde direction (Your ship is moving)

#

One more thing, you need to shut down your engine once you see the PE value reaching your target attitude. Keep leaving it shutdown until your ship reaching the PE point and then this is when you start your engine again.

Also don't use 100% throttle, use the shift/control key to slowly adjust your AP/PE in the bottom left so they are the same

When you are doing your circularization burn, try to stay exactly at AP by pitching above or below the horizon. When AP moves ahead of you pitch down, and when it moves behind pitch up. You can also do this in flight mode by watching your vertical speed indicator at the top of the screen. When it’s exactly 0 you are at AP.

yes they can

#

that's a circular orbit

it is physicaly imposible

object falls and changes its speed towards core

#

absolute circular orbit is mposible

you could theoretically get an absolutely perfect orbit to start with, but IRL, yeah, uneven spots in the gravity field will disrupt that fairly quickly.

#

but you can certainly get close enough for all practical purposes
