@bright ibex If they're close to each other, you can switch between them with the [ and ] keys
if not, you can go to map view, right-click on the other one and select "control"

or go to the tracking station, find it in the list, and click "control" on it from there
if it's got a kerbal in a command pod, no.
for probes, AFAIK commnet isn't implemented yet; that said, you can turn off "probes require connection to control" or something like that in gameplay settings
i applied the higher rigidity to my physics json but it still is wobbly as hell
how do you see the apoapsis, i used to right click in ksp1 but that doesnt seem to work

Yeah, there are ways. I don't know of any place to find them yet, but I imagine KerbalX will have some eventually, if they don't already.

Sometimes the "Reverb to VAB" button doesnt work but the "Revert to launch" button does...Is this a bug or is there a specific reason I cant revert to the VAB?

What is this???!?
Marks the "main" vehicle in the workspace.
If you have multiple separate vehicles in the workspace, only one of them will have that green flag, the rest will have white flags.
Click on a white flag to change which vehicle is the "main" one.
When you click "launch", only the vehicle with the green flag will be sent to the launch pad/runway.

KSP2 only allows stock flags unless you have a mod like this.
Adjusting the fuel in the tanks doesn't update the CoM, how can I find out if my vehicle will be stable without actually flying it?
Found out I have to cycle the launch vehicle for it to update

I can't keep it stable, it requires a lot of manual control to keep it even pointing up
I mean, you want it to start gradually tilting over to the east before too long
when it starts spinning it gets unrecoverable

I had some issues with that on my apollo format launches, and it was exacerbated by thrust plates currently being wobblier than they should be
on my comsat launches I didn't use any thrust plates, and it's much more stable, but still gets a little roll-wobble sometimes
I'unno; maybe someone else with more Shuttle experience will come along with some tips
I don't see any wobbling, structurally it's stable

Is there a way to disable a control surface mid flight? My shuttle keeps getting an uncontrollable roll after SRB separation and I think the rudder is making it bad

Sorry, I'm new to KSP1 and I took a contract to take tourists so that I could make a suborbital flight with them later. But when I conduct a flight at the time of landing, my rocket turns over and the parachutes do not open. What to do?

shuttle’s center of mass is not close to aerodynamic center
Any tips on how to solve that? I don't have many options with that heavy tank
try building the space shuttle in the SPH
radial fins can help to move the aerodynamic center
KSP 2 doesn't have an SPH, but the CoM is almost entirely centered on the tank and fins aren't gonna be enough to move it that much

I accidentally overwrote one of my vehicles I had saved. Can I recover it? I have a version of it in orbit over kerbin right now. Maybe the vessel is in a save file somewhere?
Theoretically, I think? Probably a pain tho, if so.

New to KSP but learned this yesterday after doing something similar,; If you brought it back down from orbit and recovered it you can re-save it in the VAB

Pressing F2 to remove everything from the menu, still doesn't remove the timewarp menu. This only started happening after the update. Any way to fix?
Known bug from the patch, slated to be fixed in the next one.
is there any way of getting a vessel name changed?
In the tracking center you can change the name of vessels by selecting them and (I think) there is an edit button by the vessel name.
This was bugged and the new vessel names were not being saved after changing them. Maybe the patch has fixed this but I haven't had the time to test it

I have the problem that my time is running slow, one second on 1x takes 2-3 second. Only when I warp 3x it feels right.

Attach plate to bottom of tank. Optionally attach one engine to center node on bottom of plate. Surface-attach additional engines in symmetry to outer bottom surface of plate.
Plate has an adjustable "floating" attachment node below where the engines go; this acts the same way as the attachment node on the bottom of an engine, creating an interstage fairing if something is attached to it.

How do I use a KAL controller as a toggle?
I don’t want it to have a play timer, I just want it to have a button
Or I just want someone to explain how the play timer works with a toggle instead of a broad numbered variable
Actually I think I figured out a way around it, I want to toggle the motor power on a lot of robotics, but I can just control the torque limit percentage

it will 99% be completed and playable i nthe future. They have been workign on it for way to long to scrap it and start something new. Plus it has been hyped up by the community for years and years
