my game won’t load

I need help
My copy of ksp (steam) won’t finish loading

when I click on play in the steam library the game starts loading all the files normally until the:@ thumbs cannardcontroller icon file the pictures stil loop but the rest grindes to shrieking halt

Does anyone know how to fix this/know a cause?
