There is a box which you tick. Its says like set position with mouse wheel. The clicj with the mouseheel next to the rover and press ok

For safety you could turn off crash damage. in case you mess up

Dont change lat and lon. those are your position

do change altitude and rotation (heading doesn't matter in this case)

can't you just extend the landing legs until you get a lucky bounce?
