so im looking at radar and the radar rating, ive always been confused abt the rating and which is better and etc.

K, M, and G refer to thousand, million, and billion. So 1000K would be equal to 1M, for a power rating of 1 million. The actual range is the geometric mean of the two ratings: sqrt(r1*r2). This page has a useful conversion chart: https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/CommNet
