how do i install mods

You open the zip files, and in them there should be a file labeled as gamedata

You move that file into ksp gamedata folder

Normally there’s a game data folder, but you could try putting that into the ksp gamedata folder and see how that works

also one last question, it says to install parallax at hte start

i dont have the "parallax" folder they talk abt, just the last two

its a bit difffrom that cause the k thing doesnt have hte game data folder (ill just try putting in the entire folder) and i also dont see the parallax download link anywhere, just the scatter and stock texture thigns

Up to you; you’re probably close to getting this fixed but if you plan on downloading more mods ckan might be worth it. There’s a link in the faq

for future reference, look for 'release', 'win' and 'release-build' and avoid 'src' and 'source' when downloading mods

some modmakers make it very difficult to find 'the mod that you download for use'
...as if most of the people who download mods are not going to use them 🙄
