Main issue with the game, is that the updates lack intent

What do I mean by intent?
Before an update, you should take the META damge (for instance having 2 N+) and then have an endgoal of what you want the new damage META to be, after that, you can plan around it. Currently, most updates lack this intent and do little to add actual content for us.

Updates that lack intent:
Kindama (Didn't improve DPS whatsoever, could literally be removed)
XZ (Overshadowed by Mid-week winter raid)
Hunter City (Only used for WB, and before WB was added, was useless)
Nen Island (Adds nothing as of current

Now compare this to good updates (mostly mid-week)
WB (Gives the best shadow in the game)
Pity (Reduces luck aspect for getting best shadow)
Winter Raid (Gave the best shadow at the time and the best weapon)
Dedu Raid (Gave the best shadow at the time and was good for core progression)
Infernal Castle (Added lots of things to do, new dust farm, good shadow progression and gave an endgoal)
Titles (massively increased dps)
Shadow Crafting (Streamlined progression, made it less luck based)
Relics (Improved damage massively)
Quests (Gave us stuff to work towards)

You may notice, all the good updates have a clear intent and help us progress. The bad updates all have an issue where they give you really low DPS at the start and increase our dps in the Mid-week update to compensate, i'd rather you do it from the start by buffing the weapons we get and shadows (Mori town - Dragon city had a weapon like 30x better than previous) As of current, you either add no new content to increase shadows (meaning we will not have the dps for further islands) or if you do, weapons will be further useless, they are already like two islands behind shadows.

@alpine tendon You seem to have forgotten that we can not only drop N ranks but also N+ ranks, The N drop rate is pretty high with all relics (60% apparently) and we now have a pity system. The N+ crafting is just to help reduce the luck aspect, yes if you craft with only g ranks it will take a long time, that's why you wouldn't. Just by farming for N+ Dad monarch, players have a surplus of N ranks

to everyone who said yes to this suggestion this game is goanna become ALOT more grindy if this is added so alr lemme just debunk this right now so lets take it down a couple steps alr first to make one G rank thats 6 SS ranks right and to make one S rank thats 6 shadows of each different rank of that specific shadow and to make an N rank its 6 G rank but if they added N+ rank crafting lets break it down with math i said it a couple days ago but the only time im doing math this summer is for this game cause im addicted lol so first N+ would require 36 G ranks to make because the crafting recipe according to the previous patterns would be 6 N ranks for one N+ rank which would be 36 G ranks to make one N+ rank now lets do the math bit thats 36 hours of grinding and thats not even adding in the different scenarios where you might have a really op M+ rank like one shot the boss or you just dont get there in time and that is assuming you pull a G rank snow(example) EVERY SINGLE time and since it only happens once an hour thats going to be a major hassle now lets say they did add this hypothetically if you have a guild with shadow equip and you bought the gamepass for +3 shadow equip lets say you have max equip shadows to get a full team of N+ rank shadows thats 36x11 which is 396 G ranks and again this is assuming you get a perfect run every single time and to get a full team of those 36x11 (11 shadow slots) 396 hours of grinding and for reference 24 hours in a day 24x17 is 408 408 divided by 24 is 17 which is 2 WEEKS and 3 DAYS of non stop grinding therefore N+ rank crafting should NOT be added have a great day thanks for listening to my ted talk

The current updates are rough, you progress rapidly until you don't at which point you're fighting for scraps of damage that will be ruined by a mid-week update that always adds something op.
Yes, there is a lot of good being added (World bosses, more raids, infernal, titles, relics) but the new islands (the main attraction) feel sorely neglected, Kindama added nothing, XZ city was pointless as they added winter raid shortly after, Hunter city was pointless until WB update and now is only used to farm runes.
Every update, they make it easier to get higher tier shadows to compensate for the fact that our damage is lacking comparative to new island scaling (we see this with most the mid-week updates) This just leads to everything being extremely quick until you reach endgame, there are people that have joined for 4 days that are already stronger than me as they have arisen more N+.
