Was gna afk the labyrinth, so I tabbed out of roblox cause I was gna afk it and do my thing but then notice the reset noti was going off very often (I was confused as I can reach 100waves easily but it wouldn't be that quick...). So I tab back to roblox and see the npc spawning in front of the portal. I assume some spawn on it destroying it immediately. And yes I have tested it it only happens when I tab out of roblox.
