Civ 7 came out and I played it nonstop. Late nights early morning weekends rinse repeat. Loved playing. I could overlook the lack of options I was used to in civ 6 rising storm bc this was a new game and I was having too much fun. However that started to change slowly. I became more aware of bugs that ranged from little to strategy altering. I became more frustrated with the UI and civpedia that had seemingly stepped back in time, as well a distinct lack of choice in how I wanted to play. I would like to offer my frustrations in bulk and how I would change them.

Choice to transition to different civ. Include ability to swap leaders with inclusion of more:
This one's pretty succinct, just give us a choice. I play on epic age epic length deity difficulty and I find that either I Really want a change or I Really don't. Pretty much determines if I continue that game through the transition, sadly means most of the time I just stop playing until I feel like starting a new antiquity. Having a choice would be nice -
Don't stop the era for the whole map. Ruins the flow and feel of interactions with civs:
Probably affects longer length game players most. Love calling this event "the annunaki visit" bc that's what it feels like. In previous civs most of the fun was diplomacy through the ages. You could create your own cold war, sponsoring a friendship with a lesser neighbor to your enemy to destabilize them. Or be behind yourself with a bad spawn and slowly crawl your way back through decisions and diplomacy instead of being thrust back into contention. Just feels wrong for a historic world building game. Instead of getting rewards at the end of an era, give rewards for era progress (idea 3). But don't just can this mode either, why not keep it in the game as a unique game mode for people who enjoy the idea? Everybody eats
Got more but got no space hiyah
