When you're at war with someone and they attack your units or settlements it shows up as
"Spain attacked your x" or "Songhai attack your x". This is all fine, until there are historical leaders of those nations in game. I found that a lot of the times I just get confused when I read it, cause I think "what? Isabella attacked me? We're allies!". And then I realize it was Xerxes who attacked me, not Isabella.

Its not a big deal, but if it can cause me a tiny bit of confusion, I bet it did for others as well. Itd make sense that the notification says which leader attacked, and not which civ.

Also the game is allowing duplicate civs in some situations. Changing it to ‘[leader] attacked you’ makes sense.

That'd cause even more confusion, tho that didn't happen to me yet

[Leader] of [Civ] attacked you - that would fix any and all confusion and should be applied to then entire game, since duplicate civs and leaders is possible in civ7.
