#Need a list of connections in each town

With the screen cluttered with real world detail, it is challenging to see which settlements are connected by roads. For various reasons, especially when determining if I should change the town focus to a hub, it would be great to have a list connections available in the settlement screen, showing which settlements that settlement is connected to (and if it has a rail connection).

if you play on PC there are some great UI Mods that provide this information to you.
And if you're going to be using mods, I encourage you to use CivMods to install and manage your mods, it's super easy to use (great until we later get Steam Workshop support). After installing, you can find the below mods list on the "available mods" tab

UI Mods:

  • TCS Improved Plot Tooltip the mouseover tooltip on settlements now includes a list of all connected settlements, with city/town icons (and food icon if food is being sent/received) and lots of other helpful info
OR (these two UI mods are mutually exclusive, since they both modify the same tooltip, but with author's different choices on style and which info to include)

  • Map Trix the mouseover tooltip on settlements includes a count of the connected settlement and lots of other helpful info. also note that you can hold "shift" or "ctrl" to get verbose tooltip with more details. settlement list is not available in this mod, but it is available in the next mod by the same author

  • City Hall this adds a lot of UI improvements to the settlement screen, and in particular for your case, you can click on the scroll at top left to get to the "settlement details" right-side panels where the mod now includes list of connected settlements.

If you're a console player, unfortunately mods are not available so will have to wait for devs to hopefully include this information in a future patch (so thanks for suggesting!)

CivMods makes installing Civilization 7 mods easy. Browse, install, and manage mods in just a few clicks.
