So the units move in logic, and their vision renders correct, but the men and their icons stay put. So you can click the icon where ever it stuck, it will select the unit that is somewhere else, noted by the glitter etc selecting a unit does, i have it on video

I mean, sure i can keep a tally on the state muster, but there were a trio of hoplites where no indication was given of such to be the case.

Happened a few times during one game.

idk, is asking for the strategic view back too much? Personally i used it for zoom out, and to give my gtx 970 a break on lategame civ vi.

I'm on this years b570, and yea the newest intel drivers, with also an intel cpu.

And intel is plastered over your splashscreen, but settings are "amd all the way".

Vulkan is more stable than dx12... I'd also like a manifest of the prerequisites per all the .net redistributable prerequisites, so i could install them correctly not let some half donkeyd installer to determine what is best for my system, which for some might seem like a upper echelon build; But it is not... Cpu was 800€, gpu was 300€.... Mismatched ram, and a slav 970 to encode obs (which after the drivers also got violated enough to force me to downgrade to 720p broadcast[5g ontop, live dither, love wither]).

Could you press intel to fix their muck? I know my windows build isn't helping, but i'm reverting back to winserver25 datacenter soon; This install is purely for civ so if there is a necessity to use the latest stable 11 i have already allocated a quarter of a 990 2tb for steam and obs.

I'd love to be able to run a containerized hyper V workload that is the civ game, as there is that extradomainical try catch block, where bare metal knows bsods. (they're actually green on canary)

But if this "runs on mac", and not on x86 due to whatever is the case.... The whole utilization of threads on winblows11 is power saver vs how winserv25 is "performance is

paramount"

managed to ease the cpu load, but to be honest im not sure i ever tested on dx12 but from the start if something was prone to crashing every other turn, that is the dx12 api with civ.... Just a stack of benchmarks, the lattest ones were after a full sweep resetting graphics drivers, and shorting cmos for OOBE or semi close to such....

But yea gave me 30 centigrade of headroom for the cpu by (due to an overclock mishap had to safemode yank that from the roots) adressing gpu drivers.... Same version aswell, which presented an earlier gremlin of google chrome crashing on urlbar typing; As that uses the gpu iguess, so now they're crosspointed; But i'd prolly head back into the bios to check the intel is actually treated as the #1 and it not being autoed to god knows the internal apu....

I burnt out from being a tech this is oxenwaste, been 6 hours but atleast winblows boots :3. Im gonna install one to three different os (same kernel f linux) to test out if the workstation version is what makes the whole hyperthreading issue be a huge issue, or maybe its due to the inherit design of the game(like a board game) pressed through the cookiecutteria that is unreal...... As yea paralellism still there is activity in one picture in a hyperthread, but ONLY just after the mamathread has done calculations, it then parks itself, untill the ht has finished that workload, then it parks itsellf and the mamathread starts working i mean....

The game should utilize both aot and jit, due to the inherit nature of the game being half of the time ui locked, and the other half being cpu bound....

There prolly are dependencies making the next turn calcs be a bit serial, but if multithreading might be an issue; Multiprocessing could work... Imagine there being in the background a data only strategic view, for the computer to use as data authority to rid of corruptions even visible via "visual bugs", like units being able to stack due to x,y, and z... But yea some computer scientists help

so yea cant play, prolly need a fresh install of windows for the nth time, idk even if there is a way to view the bug reports that are sent, tostring the exception on the bug report wanna send, but tbh not in the mood

#

so earlier i gots it fixed, here is just by the graphics benchmarks the cpu temps hitting 100*c BUT yea was i using only vulkan for that.....

#

idk, maybe the cpu load was the windows watermark, or the that i changed from windows display settings (right click desktop) there was some make it look good as a windowed piece, and could set high performance or power saving and per preferred GPU

And yea 100% gpu load, 100% vram, the resizeable bar feature might actually have some culpritism in this; atleast i noticed my ram being 3600mhz where now it sits at 4300, but yea i was hyperVing me them os' and then from bios idk already forgot in yawns of fire....

So yea i know this sounds rough and blameful but i mean, supposed it runs on mac.... (20fps antiquity i heard).... Oh right the gpu pcie lane that asserts superiority; And like i ended the nvidia container process by force, and all it crashed was steam, like something about a toolbar or overlay but i saw a connection tos niff around there, maybe try in big picture mode.....

#

Or maybe we can hail mary and celebrate if it'd run like a dream if i pass the intel gpu to a lite as possible winvisor along with every P core, like the host having the e cores and the bad gpu, and carve like what 8gb that'd need to host the civ7 vm which in theory could take snapshots, so a crash could be just savestated back...

But yea load balancing, systems/blogic analysis, and implementation of already known design patterns and (sub)systems architechture.

or yea maybe its my os idk ill run with winserver25 with windows "experience", and prolly whatever the naming was home edition N and idk win 10 prolly works but

vulkan

#

xmp lead to boot failing 6 times before it took precautions and booted, so now it should not overheat the cpu, and have the "stability of vulkan"

#

but yea, had to manually root intel gpu drivers, and the installer to begin with always states that they're "corrupted"; Winrar, which is not free, can extract the installer where inside is the executable to then get them online

#

now i just need a fat thirty two stick, or bust out a winstick, i could "stress test" and not be bothered, lol idk what day it even is

#

it generates this at launch, every time but has no effect can still play untill grey or bluescreen

im installing a new windows, the problem might just might be that hard team blue branding; Like ofc the intel gpu would utilize the 13900k iGPU, from bios disable that. But yea good shout on clearing all cache. This install of windows is purely for civ to begin with

#

to a newer, faster, and larger nvme ssd, 990 sumsang to rule out bad solid state bits

#

my personal stance on the matter of RISC, arm is great for dc apparatii, where ac doesn't need efficiency.... Turning coat in asap to red

#

also the small chrome google search problem also resolved with black magic, and before "just take the 970 out" resulted in no difference; Computer has drivers it thinks there is something to drive for that one crucial moment. this gpu as is running at 97 98 99 % mostly in game, it could not encode video without major affect
