#Separate Age Victories (Milestones) from the game victory

I've seen some similar posts, but thought I'd take my own stab at it.
One of my biggest issues with Civ 5-6 is the rush for a victory on high difficulties. Not having to worry about losing in Antiquity and Exploration is great, but not Modern. I just rushed for culture victory by turn 80 way to easily, and felt completely disconnected from the rest of the game by just making the project cheaper.
I understand they intend to set it up so you can choose your start and end eras, but a single final milestones is too easy to get as a win condition. Putting aside how easy the culture victory is, just rushing for any final milestone is easy. On the "long" age setting, I managed to get all 4 by turn 116 in Exploration (getting Mil, econ, culture the same turn).
Besides fine-tuning, the simple answer would be total milestones (possibly weighted) or score based (player choice at game creation) when the era is 100%. This would be way better then the game just ending and makes past eras more relevant to wining.
Alternatively, creating a unique project for the victory instead. Depending on the final age: World Empire, World Congress, UN etc. The requirement would be a total of 1 final milestone per-age (so 3) and possibly locked behind a tech and civic about 3/4 the way through.
Anyone else have an idea for a victory?

not sure I understand what you mean here.

Are you saying you dislike having a win condition in the last era? or trying to suggest adding win conditions for the first two eras?

You kind of jump from one straight to the other. It seems like having a win condition would then make you feel pressed to race towards it, which you dislike. Or am I misunderstanding you?

Besides, there's no need to race towards victory tbh since the AI is busy doing random wasteful moves that don't accomplish anything. I've almost never seen AI completing even 1 of the 4 path's 3/3 milestones on Deity.

I dislike that the only way to win is based solely on one age. No need for milestones in the previous eras. I want to be able to remove the conditions.

I can get all the milestones in every age, making a giant and powerful empire, and it's theoretically possible to lose via culture 40 turns in because they got the 15 relics found when they are first revealed (which I just did) while not achieving a single previous milestone. I realize the AI won't rush it like that (human player will), but the possibility is there and it can be a bit hard to track and finishes so fast you can't stop it.

So, an option turn off victory conditions (the final projects) and add a score victory, either total milestones achieved, achieved in a single type, or the more classic 'score' (option for all). Given how the new age system works, I see no reason why it we can't 100% the age for the win, like what is implied with the previous 2 ages.
