When selecting perks at the start of an age, you are allowed to check the map, which is really handy before making a consequential decision. With that in mind, why can't you do the same when bargaining for settlements?

In this instance, I have no clue which settlement Kanchipuram is, or where it even is in relation to mine. If I could briefly view the map to see where it is and what other settlements are nearby, I could make a much more educated decision here.

Please add the "view map" button to this screen as well; it would make life significantly easier.

On a related note, when someone provides you with an Endeavor, you can X out to do other things without auto-denying it, and you can come back to it later in that turn. Why is that not the case here?

I love it when an AI makes a new settlement in the middle of nowhere and immediately proceeds to barter it for a peace deal and you have no idea what they're going on about

100% agree, this is a big misstep. I always have to refuse the peace offer, inspect the map, try to remember everything, and then propose peace myself
