#Someone tell me why I can’t build anything anywhere in this city

yea seems a bug, autosaves are enabled by default if you wanna go and load a turn before where you are here... You can put the whatever on the green; but the picture doesnt make that much sense ro4 5h3 rq4m on the right should be yellow... If there is a way to replicate said, like a savefile that triggers said each time. Loading a save from one or two turns previous, and if it doesnt trigger the problem.
There is no problem... The cause could be iffy code, or overheating. The ps5 has the slots to put a vaccuum cleaner, the game is specified to work on the machine in good condition; and i know from my example the dust can cause this and that faults...
But yea nice petra.,.. I'd save before starting the major wonder, for if it is stolen, better just focus on an other wonder...
oh i reloaded. Nothin. I’m playing on xbox too, so I did a hard reset which usually is like some magic fix for just about everything. Still nothing. I’m about to reinstall the game as soon as i get home from work, but this is literally a game breaking bug
Right its xbox mistook the buttons, but do you have a save before the problem happened, if reloading to that and replicating the moves would trigger that again; more over than loading the save that is 'corrupted' as the corruption would be also saved.
I'm saying you could have said save before, but might not anymore if you've played an other game ontop..
Wondering is this, as the growth mechanic is different than used to, a feature; what happens if you grow a population; would that also bug out or would new stuff be able to be put on the new rural tile.
There are tiles within borders, rural tiles, and urban tiles you have to have them be connected atleast, won't let you pop things onto the further tiles before assigning population such that its linked with the city...
Growing pops works fine. Its just the district placement thats bugged. I cant place a fishing quay in that river tile either. i’ll try to find an early save but i waited pretty long to see if it would resolve itself or if growing a pop would fix it.
i noticed the bug after i finished the grand stele and i cleared a barb camp to boost its production, so maybe that had something to do with it
I also noticed that i havent been able to do the district eviction strat either where you place a rural tile to expand borders and then build a district on top of the rural tile and then place the reclaimed rural tile to the newly expanded border just past the district. In my two recent games, I havent been able to put a rural tile on the newly expanded border tiles.
I thought that was also maybe connected to this issue
They patched that out because it was a bug....though dunno if that patch has hit consoles yet.
That was what i thought until i ran into this current district bug. I thought maybe the two were related
