Face verification failures are usually caused by mismatch or capture issues, not just ID age.
Try this:
- Retake the selfie in good lighting, no shadows on face
- Keep a neutral expression (no smile, no tilt)
- Remove glasses, hats, or filters
- Make sure your camera is clean and high quality
- Match your face position to the on-screen guide exactly
- Use a different device/browser if possible
If it still fails:
- The system may not be able to confidently match your face to the ID
- You’ll need manual verification
Next step: contact Dodo support and share:
- Your account email
- The issue (face verification failing)
- A clear photo of your ID + a selfie holding the ID
They can review and verify you manually.
