#Subscription payment stuck on “processing”

Hey folks,
I have a subscription product, I was checking if my live mode was working correctly. So i made a payment via card but it has been stuck in “processing” state since 18th Jan. It’s been over a week.

Have used dodo before on another project and had’nt faced this issue!

Could you please help me out!

This isn’t expected behavior.

In Live mode, a card payment should never stay in processing for more than a few minutes.

Most common causes:

  • Card payment is awaiting network confirmation and got stuck
  • Payment requires manual review/intervention
  • Edge-case failure at the acquiring bank level

What to do next:

  1. Share the payment_id / subscription_id with Dodo support (don’t post it publicly).
  2. Open a support ticket mentioning:
    • Live mode
    • Date: Jan 18
    • Status stuck in processing
  3. If this was a test, don’t retry on the same card until support resolves it.

Dodo will either:

  • Move it to failed, or
  • Manually complete/void it on the backend.
