• Dodo license keys support activation limits + manual disabling.

• Minimum withdrawal (India): ₹1,000 ✅
• Withdrawal fees:
  • Depends on payout method and corridor.
  • India sellers selling globally: standard payment processing fees apply + local bank payout fee.
• Exact fee breakdown is not public per country → support ticket required for precise numbers.

3. Testing license emails in Test Mode

• In Test Mode, Dodo does send license emails.
• Use:
  • A real email inbox
  • Test checkout → license key generated → email sent
• If not received:
  • Check spam
  • Confirm product has License Keys enabled

4. No filtering on License Keys page

• Correct — there is no product filter on the License Keys UI right now.
• Current workaround:
  • Click a license → check the associated product
• Feature request noted; not supported yet.

5. “Disable payment options” not working in Test Mode

• Issuing free licenses manually or via API is supported.
• Abuse of free licenses is not your fault; Dodo does not penalize sellers for this.
• Your in‑app limits (device binding, activation limits) are the correct approach.

How to issue free licenses without public checkout

• Create a product with License Keys enabled
• Create / manage license keys via dashboard or API
• Distribute the key yourself (email, in‑app, account page)

3. License emails — Test vs Live

• License emails are sent in both Test and Live mode.
• In Test mode:
  • Use a real email
  • Emails may land in spam
• Payment is simulated, but license + email flow is real.

• Per‑product or per‑checkout payment method control is not supported yet.
• You cannot selectively disable BNPL, GPay, wallets, etc.

• You can price USD‑only even as an India seller.
• Buyer sees local currency conversion automatically.
• Taxes (VAT/GST):
  • Collected based on buyer’s country (e.g. Germany → VAT applied).
  • Dodo handles calculation and remittance where applicable.
• For a macOS one‑time purchase:
  • USD pricing is totally fine
  • Simpler accounting
  • No downside unless you want India‑specific pricing
