Why is it that one must use the bank account of the registered business name in the account to receive payout, whereas in most other payment processors you can use any bank account you choose to.

Even Stripe, I can use any bank account information I wish to use to receive my payments payout. Okay now the company i registered with we're having bank account issues and I submitted another company account i use, they rejected it saying i should submit the one of the company that I registered in Dodo Payments.

PayPal too, the way Dodo does the bank account is stressful and inconvenient. Because now how do I receive payouts seeing that I cannot submit the account of my Dodo registered company but an alternate one? As the company own has issues at the moment.

Dodo Payments requires that the bank account linked for payouts must be under the registered business name associated with your account. This policy is likely in place to ensure compliance with financial regulations and to maintain the integrity of the transaction process. It helps in verifying the legitimacy of the business and ensures that funds are being transferred to the correct legal entity.

If your registered company's bank account is currently facing issues, here are a few steps you might consider:

  1. Contact Support: Reach out to Dodo Payments support to explain your situation. They may be able to provide guidance or offer a temporary solution while your primary bank account issues are being resolved.

  2. Update Business Information: If you have another company that can legally receive the payouts, consider updating your business registration details with Dodo Payments to reflect this new entity. This might involve submitting new documentation for verification.

  3. Temporary Solutions: In some cases, payment processors might offer temporary solutions or exceptions, especially if you can provide documentation proving the issues with your current bank account. It's worth discussing this with their support team.

  4. Explore Alternative Payment Processors: If the situation is urgent and cannot be resolved quickly, you might consider using another payment processor that allows more flexibility with bank account linking in the interim.

It's important to ensure that any changes comply with both Dodo Payments' policies and local financial regulations.
