Nah, you just get like transmissions from them at certain ranks but no actual contracts. Arachne doesn't need any anyway, you get a lot of arachne and cyac xp through organic gameplay. I'm sure even if you don't pvp at all you loot runner bags from time to time

It is a good idea to rank it up though cause VIP rank ups give reflex coils
