Honestly, my issue with the knife was just its lunge distance and the lunge angle. With the WSTR it was mainly its availability. It's WAY to easily obtained for how effective it was. It was a decision between nerfing its availability or nerfing the dmg. This late in the season, too many are out in the wild now so the dmg nerf only made sense. Otherwise they'd have to wait until wipe.
