no it's not. The best for pvp is using silencer , range scope and range purple mag. This way you still get the 40m cap but at the same time when you are hitting your opponent he won't have the ping telling him from where he's getting shot. Insanely usefull when ur flanking / ambushing. On cryo you can remove the range sight and go thermal since 30 m are more than enough.
