If they have any sightline on you at all they'll still activate but if you book it behind a wall they will usually forget you exist and be on high alert

If so, try hitting the Ctrl key instead of the Shift key. Also, ensure something isn't forcing your Shift key down. You would not survive 5 seconds of an immersive sim.

I mean Oni told you what to do for explaining basics including to not try to 1 v army the UESC bots, how to exfil, etc so if you didn't skip it, it was pretty helpful. Plus your first few games until solid exfil are on perimeter (beginner) so you're only with newbies
