Speaking of priority contracts, I'm curious how wipes will handle them. This is not how the layering of UE5 over a primary game engine works. UE5 is the renderer, the logic doesn't run in unreal natively. You see the same implementation in Oblivion Remastered, UE5 is the rendering layer, the game logic is 100% gamebryo and you can mod it with the same tools as back in the day even. There is no benefit from porting over the entirety of the games logic from a tried and tested engine you're familiar with when you can leverage all of UE5's rendering technology without doing any of that work.
