Nothing "always opens" the vaults. Each vault has an item that can spawn in it (random chance) called "AI subroutine". Once you have exfilled with one from each vault and gotten each codex entry, that unlocks DNA panels that you can interact with to gain access to vault 7. You need to find a 1x1 DNA key that can be brought out and back in to use those panels as well

I'm a huge fan of this game and I really like its story, but it makes no sense to me that an Endgame map is only available on weekends, and to top it all off, as a rather unsociable person due to my lifestyle, I can't play solo and have to be paired with someone random, only to say "GG" at the end of the raid and pray that the next team I get is more competent than the last. Because of this, I can't continue learning about its great lore, much less progress in the skill trees, since now solo players like me have been forced into a giant wall of RNG, making us play with randoms. Please understand this message. You probably lack empathy, but it's unbelievable how happy I was solving the ARG to play Cryo Archive, only to then have to put up with this. Sadly, there's no point in playing for me, since I can't progress with my main skill tree or the lore. I'm sorry, but I'm tired of spending an entire day destroying all my equipment for absolutely nothing. And to top it all off, most players have their microphones blown and sound awful, or they have their microphones open so you can hear their whole family talking behind them.
