Ok am taking a shot in the dark here, but seems everyone is grasping at straws some. So maybe this leads to something. But the camera is called index. Why is it then that the place is called index? The numbers on the screen if using an index like say a sorting system like dewey decimal do work out nicely. It would be 073 - which is german newspaper publications, 124 - which is Teleology (which the term was coined in by a german), and 184 which is Platonic philosophy.
