I think the best use of my time if we're going to experiment to look for a zero cycle, is to recruit through proxy on Perimeter, lower level players, less likely to have a lot of PvP, and the terminals still work there, yeah?

After watching a terminal reset, we can confirm it is some form of decay not resetting to zero for every 15 minute increment. This is because of a bug with bungie’s api update that caused it to drop in 2 segments. If each time it reset to zero and counted up the bug would have gone up in two increments from zero instead of dropping from the current number towards the result of the 15 minute period.

This is the official API or my tracker? I can't think of a reason why you'd see different numbers from official though there could always be a bug with spammed refresh. I'll take a look if so. I can also speed up the refresh rate a bit when it hits 0:00 for a bit

Will say it another time just to make sure it's seen. My belief is that there are TWO factors at play for progress decay:

1. If the minimum threshold was reached (based on a certain x% progress)
2. Percent difference between the prior interval's pair completions and the latest

Alright i got a theory. so we know that terminal's can be decoded and one says "with pain and fury" another "strike the stone" and last one " until its secret breaks." Im not sure which terminal is which, but maybe we have to do them in order so it'll be "with pain and fury strike the stone until its secret breaks."
