I think the top range of knife damage is fine but you should have to build for it, shouldn't just get arachne upgrades and two tap on a free kit, you should have to run implants for that. The lunge also shouldn't exist, i'm fine with the knife being strong but it shouldn't just teleport you to your target and have wildly good aim assist

The 9 kills one isn’t too bad either. If you kill the other teams fast enough on outpost, it’ll just keep spawning rooks until the cutoff which is like 8-9 minutes remaining. Had this happen earlier 💀 one of my teammates also had 6 lmao

Yeah for the grenade and melee one, it doesn’t matter how they go down. You could find a rook on the ground that went down to fall damage, but so long as you full kill one person with your knife, and another person with a frag, you’ll get it!

I mean yeah about the killstealing, I agree that could use some work. On the other hand I lowk get it for the achievements and stuff. They’re not truly dead until you finish them and their whole team. I managed to crawl away from a fight the other day after I went down. Between the med drone my teammate had thrown on me right before I went down, plus the two scab factory upgrades that give you a combined 60s extra of DBNO, I was able to crawl all the way out of control (cryo) and find a self revive.

I ratted out for a while, then looped back and got my teammates up. We ended up hearing someone call an extract really close to us, and managed to exfil camp them before they could get out

What is the counterplay for this? What is anyone supposed to do in this situation? I die instantly to a runner who is able to climb up a whole mountain without any possibility of being seen, and who I can't reasonably hear over two firefights. its kinda crazy the performance difference between outpost and perimeter
in some parts of outpost i get more like bein inside pinwheel for some reason, but on the outer parts its like 70-90fps then perimeter is a decently steady 144 with only slight dips into 120-140 when theres a lot goin on, this is after my cpu upgrade which was a 3800x to a 5800x3d, so like the jump in some spots is crazy, previously i was only getting like 40-60fps in perimeter so i underestimated how cpu bound the game was. so like i very much dont regret the upgrade. im also sure it veries a lot depending on where you are but im just happy to have a more stable framefrate

Shields (on runners or enemies) take more damage from volt sources (V9, V11, V66, V85, V99 and maybe emp grenades) and bubble shields used to also take bonus damage from volt sources but that effect was removed in the latest patch probably in part because the 33% health nerf would make volt weapons shred bubbles too fast
