it more specifically, highlights containers through walls and humanoids on LOS. It gives each highlight the color of their most valuable item in their possession (if you're close enough. at long distance, it just defaults to a white highlight)

Jumping around (full jumps) can mask your footsteps by simply not playing the running sounds and replacing them with the jump and landing sounds which are less recognisable to players who are constantly listening for footsteps!

(This works to some extent as it mimics the UESC loud metallic walking rather than the Runner walking sounds)

this is a really bad example, cause you're looking at a highly compressed still image that is cropped in. yes, that will mash the subtle information that you would see natively that gives you the tell that someone is cloaked

also our eyes are good at spotting things that are moving. when a cloaker is still and tucked behind some cover, very hard to see yes. When moving against the skyline, if you're paying attention it's pretty easy to see. I've caught lots of people like this, the spawns are very close if you both sprint in the direction towards each other and he waited a moment to watch/hear you and he's expecting you to be there he will catch you. Sprinting especially in water is very loud
