I think this is just modern graphic design but in neon, the big geometric shapes, stripes, bright contrasting colors, nothing that cant be done in adobe illustrator... although the serifs are a bit off-path. I think it absolutely translates to a game, in an experience where you want to communicate as much information as quickly as possible "less is more" and big recognizable shapes is very appropriate. Also, lore-wise it communicates the "cyber-corporate" concept phenomenally!

maybe its not exactly the style that's different just the intensity. These types of minimalist but at the same time maximalist graphics have been coming on for a while. Although i would guess the devs working on Mthn just jumped into the deep end because of its cyber-corporate ultra futuristic setting.

iirc Helldivers 2 which is also futuristic(?) uses the same sort of minimalist graphics to a lesser degree. this is the style being used by companies at the moment so i can imagine the devs multiplying it x1000 to imagine the far future

Well its just about organizing and using tools, I personally study in the graphic design field, but I started off by using small indie company stuff before going to use Adobe

Some tools I used were online dithering tools, backgroun removers, and iphone editing

Everyone starts somewhere, just dont be afraid to share your idea, and accept valid critques to help improve your work
