Perimeter is just the most basic of the maps. Great introduction to the game and fairly easy to learn the flow of the map. Not much in the center of the map and a lot of pois around the outside.

Dire Marsh is, probably, the most hated map by a majority of the community, but it has more of some resources and access to rarer resources then you would find on Perimeter.

Outpost is....well it's Outpost. More difficult AI, smaller map, most widely hostile environment event, and high loot poi's locked behind puzzles, but also some of the best access to true high tier loot outside of Cryo.

The more contracts you do the more XP you get for your DAC which could net you better rewards in game. Last time we got profile banners and icons.

I have this thing where I try to "be prepared" and I bring in a stack of grenades and a bunch of ammo and meds into each raid. But then like 90% of the time I die in the first 2 minutes before I can use any of it. And I realized that even if I didn't die, I'd still never use the grenades because I have no idea in what situation you should use a grenade.

Grenades are a good way to push someone out of cover or toss into a group of UESC that are spawning in. Like if you're running Lockdown or going into the Command Wing in Pinwheel. Also depends on the type of nade as well. Heat nades are good to keep people from running away, EMP will keep them from using abilities, Flechette nades are good for a little dmg but really good for self sustain because when they dmg an enemy you get healed, Chem nades do well to zone people out(push them from cover, keep them from running straight at you, force them to take a specific route around an obstacle, or keep them from pushing stairs), Frags are just straight dmg and great for UESC groups.

But even if you don't use them, it's always better to have them and not need them then to need them and not use them.

Yeah but it only gives access to those 2 spawn rooms. The discussion was either make them random between all spawn rooms or take them away completely. Right now, if you spawn in either Biostock or Preservation you're at a MUCH higher chance to get spawn rushed than the other spawn rooms due to those vents. So you're starting at a disadvantage and under more pressure to get out than the others.

I mean yeah, you can defend it....but that costs resources. You can always claymore the vents from the inside, but that requires you to bring in claymores and now are at least 1 claymore short for the rest of the run. The main point is that it's just those 2 spawns. I don't think any sane person is upset that they are there, more just upset that it's ONLY those 2 spawn rooms. If every spawn room had vent access it wouldn't be that much of an issue.

Because it's not a proven thing. It's a new way to tackle the cheating problem. Essentially you use AI to differentiate between cheaters and legit players based on player behavior and actions given X, Y, Z circumstances. It's finding a cheater through patterns rather than detecting third party software. It'll have a higher % of false positives than traditional methods but will also be more effective since you're not playing catchup. But so far, only Valve seems to be interested in AI anti cheat.

The problem with cheats is like, they can have the cheats in a different hardware from the one they're playing on.

Well, cause the game is still very much in its early stages and my main point of comparison is, unfairly, Warframe. Not current day Warframe obviously, but what it was around 2013-2014. I just found it more engaging and interesting. Could also be partly due to Soulframe's gameplay being slower. While the world was fun to explore in the end I wasn't really in awe of it. In the end it might just not be for me, but I'll have to see it come full launch, whenever that happens
