Depends on what ur doing in the raid, Assasin is in general like 8 times out of 10 imo the one u wanna take, But Thief is also pretty nice in Solos definitely not the most optimal, Im running one rn with her because I need to loot for my contract and it helps. Aswell as just the utility of knowing what to loot and where to run in tox rooms to get loot without turning off gas is good. I just got a purple treasure from seeing a box that was purple, grapple hook is also just the best movement ability in the games hands down rn good for so many things.

That quest is a bit buggy, It would either be OS Debugs, Mechanics kits or The health items but when your consume them it sometimes doesn't register. When I used them in a fight over time health items would register for it

every now and then you will run into a couple of cool players in solo that will help you get missions done but its pretty rare. They dont have an algorythm yet like arc does where you get put in with players based on your game play...its gonna be tuff getting all the missions done before seaon ends with sneak rats and campers sittiing on top of your mission objectives.

I have the sneaking suspicion that the game queues you up with enemy players who also have the same quest forcing fights to occur

obviously there are only so many POIs in a map but it deff could just be more fuel to the fire lol

shield lets you reposition while solo for free, you can also use your tac sprint while shielding for safe pushing
missiles are based on weapon hits while active, you'll see the 3 boxes at the top of your screen light up

Destroyer is a entirely combat based character, his shield is emergency cover when caught out in the open for yourself its very nice, as well as being able to take aggressive positions and push up to more favourable ranges. His passive dash is arguably the strongest part of his kit, very good ability, very versatile, his sprint is also something else for in a pinch. Ult is pretty niche, does help in a fight but I think its more of a PVE tool very good for clearing UESC and killing bosses, also his ult gets buffed alot by cores.

It kills games and Arc Raiders already has the Extraction Adventure genre on lock. In smaller regions like OCE, It splits player bases and creates longer queues, longer queues means people get fed up and dont wanna play, and it quickly kills games, especially in smaller regions. This game while it is very successful and big rn with a very healthy population, it cannot support such an expensive feature unlike Arc-Raiders which does have the player count to do that, and that's another reason why it works there. But this game is not designed to support that or intends to, and then the devs also now have to accommodate for two different player-bases playing different games in the same game if they ever did.

Fortnite records voicechat, retaining the last 5 minutes, and you can report voice chat in-game.

That makes sense for Fortnite.

I think the problem with a PvE only mode is that there wouldn't be enough left to make the game engaging. The UESC are fun to fight, but that's only with the threat of players hearing your gunfire from a distance. Also no point in trying to exfil with better weapons when you can always beat the UESC on the standard kit.

Well, a PvE mode creates certain expectations of a casual environment with certain players that would alter the peception of the game. My impression is that Marathon's markting strategy is to be taken more seriously as a less casual and more competitive shooter, like tac shooters vs. Resident Evil

With no slight to the game, I feel like that's due to the "friendly, co-op, culture of Arc Raiders solo queues. A lot of people got comfortable in solos there and being able to just run around freely, they've forgotten or lost the "paranoia" that's required in a solo queue'd extraction shooter.

If you're in cross play lobbies, it could be a mix of things ...people paranoid, not knowing what to loot, and when it comes to console....cursor speed on console is not nearly as fast as PC. So looting time is a bit slower. Unless you're an extraction shooter vet and just loot a whole container then drop things when you need the space. 😂

I genuenly had a match on Outpost where i died in the first few mins cause i was to obsessed of doing my quest…. Then those guys said they dont come for me. One of them died the other one said it to me i can go cause he gonna wait until like 4-5m left and go to process wing and try his luck for loot….
I kid you not he went to the edge of the map and told me to leave and i decided to stay he asked me what music i listen to etc I sent him we chilled anyway he decided to go and revive me and my god he kept trying reviving me instead of killing the AI around the area and he kept getting shot so the revive just reseted continously…. Finally another team came and ofc annihilated him…. He didnt even say a single word just disconnected…. It was the weirdest match i ever had so far…..

The main issue is the rails cost too much to maintain and build new ones. We do use trains quite often to move freight. But they get moved to distro centers where trucks take it to spread out to other DC's where local trucks take it to the final destinations. The price to keep the rails maintained or to change the landscape to allow for new rails to be laid is a lot more expensive then just allowing trucks to run on already built and maintained roads and highways.

This is very misleading - a mile of rails costs more to build and maintain than a mile of road, but it can move much more cargo much faster and much cheaper than the road, so the economics almost always favour trains at long distances

aiming is a skill not many have, and the problem with thermal is not the fact that you can see it from anywhere, its the fact that bungie didnt thought about the SIGHT LINES of any of the maps besides perimeter, perimeter is the most closed off by far, dire march you can legit go to the walkways and camp snipe from there like wtf.

yea i get your point i was also pretty disappointed...and even the arc after that is meh. i generally preffer og piece over timeskip since im rewatching it right now and its a completely different direction. but the heroes had to grow and its kind of like arlong park where there wasnt much of a challenge its just them flexing shonen style you know. but i can promise you the story is really good after a few aarcs and then its uphill, if you read manga or watch one pace

it's pretty straight forward. the formula i use is, if it's ammo, is it ammo for guns i currently am holding? take it. healing stuff? take it. stuff worth lots of credit? take it. if its like a random gun attachment you dont need dont take it. generally speaking, take higher tier colors over lower tier colors. if you have something thats only purpose is to sell for 40 credits and is gray, but you find something blue worth 300 credits, obviously take the blue one and etc

i have like 40 clips of shotguns in apex legends taking like 40 shots to kill someone. the guns in apex just feel so weird. like EVERY gun has a weird con to it. smgs run out of ammo in like .5 seconds you legit have to hit ALL your shots or you're screwed, shotguns dont do any damage, snipers feel kinda weak too. idk it just feels off. i dont feel that when playing cod or now marathon for example. could just be a me thing

Its not for depositing items randomly. you can only deposit quest items, in which they dont go to your stash they simply disappear.
