From what i can tell it feels as though they sent way more steam invites out that ps or xbox, every day ive been seeing loads of ppl saying they got in on steam while barely seeing anyone on console get invited, i know some did but i doubt it was anywhere near what steam had, they were still applying on steam as late as friday/saturday and getting in, i never got in any of the tests on ps5 despite applying on day 1.

I think you're over simplifying game testing procedures. Sentiment analysis and mapping can extend far beyond basic buzzword grouping. Ex. You could map specific features to discussions w/ pro + cons, map mechanic changes with time stamped comments for before/afters.

IF they are not doing this, they should be. As big of a company as they are (w/parent company backing), they will have teams of data analysts. With this being said, then I would like to discuss with others to (full circle here) provide more data, and also hear if others are experiencing the same issues (2-way).

Every terminal, every game. It's Web 1.0 design so it might be a little awkward on mobile but it's painstakingly 1:1 transcribed

I've seen people recommend both LordMandalore and Xperia but I don't recommend either when it comes to checking out old lore partially because the story is very subjective at times. It's best to just find your interpretation of the more obscure things. For the record, as you get into 2 and especially Infinity, there's some lore details that you'll best experience in gameplay. The whole trilogy is free nowadays, including on Steam.

...it would probably help if I'd noticed that there's a bug-reporting channel below the feedback channel, though I think part of that was that I got no response from anyone other than "you can't talk about it outside of the NDA channels you don't have access to yet"

honestly I'm just demoralized. I was cautiously optimistic when this game was first announced and now that I've actually gotten to "play" it (I didn't, the bug I ran into basically made it impossible to play) it's clear that the devs' talents can't overcome management's ability to find new and exciting footguns

I believe AI can be a good reference point for building and working on concepts, but the main issue with AI is it unethically taking the work of others without consent, and further more anything from AI being treated like a finished product.

I also believe it has it's places in medical fields, but I'm incredibly sketchy about it used in art production.

Machine learning for AI programming in games though? I'm all for it, I like when enemies in games improve with time and don't stay dumb as dishwater.

the bots in Arc Raiders for example. They're machine learning driven, but I do not like AI voices. Even if the voice actors donated their likeness to the systems...

You take off one of the bots rotors, it attempts to learn to fly without it. Often to varying degrees of success.

Just like with any company type and tech, the 'bad news' gets around faster and easier than the alternative, so it makes it look like no company doing ethical AI work, even though there is. At least where the artists are concerned... the power use and all that, that's another piece of the pie
