in order to change your device settings that are greyed out, you need to change your default pc settings, the game reads directly off of those. you can't physically change the settings in game, can only change your defaults on windows then the game will update what it reads.

Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to not understand that the NDA is in effect, even before they get access to the NDA Section of the discord.

There's no NDA without the agreement, the people agree to the NDA in the game before playing. That NDA is in effect, even if they don't have access to discuss it on Discord.

People seem to think that just because they don't have access to talk about it, it means they can ignore the NDA and talk about it anywhere, it's really weird.

The devs set up #discord-role-assistance at least to work on that, for all the people that have been waiting a while

They most likely didn't type their discord ID on the survey, or mistyped it, so hopefully that helps resolve a lot of the issue with that

I got accepted to the test this weekend, but I am unable to launch the game from Steam. When I click "Play" on steam, steam attempts to launch it, and the green "Play" button turns into a blue "Stop" button. This lasts for only a few seconds before Steam seems to kill the process, and the button reverts back to the green "Play" button.

the d2 stuff wasn’t internal, and the artists were recompensed (good). the decal issue with marathon (which was taken out of proportion btw) was also unintentional, was in the asset collection of an artist who wasn’t on the team at the time, and has been handled appropriately. i’m also absolutely certain that the people who keep harping on about it couldn’t care less about AI so there’s that double standard 🤷 it’s best to be properly informed before you talk about things. (sorry mods, i’ll leave it there, understand if it gets deleted)

The only people that didn't get in by default are the ones that mistyped their Discord ID on the survey, chose not to enter their Discord ID on the last page of the survey for whatever reason where it was optional, weren't on the server when it was given, or signed up through Steam's store page and didn't have an option to connect their Discord ID to their application.

A lot of people typed their discord display name instead of their discord ID, based on some of the messages I've seen here asking about stuff
