I remember seeing destiny 1 for the first time when I was in 6th grade at my cousins house and he showed me what it was. At the time id only play Nintendo games and seeing him just killing thrall on the moon and seeing his character on the character made me in love with destiny. Fast forward to 2023 I am an avid Destiny 2 player and I really play PvP with some pve
That trailer dropped and omg I’ve never seen something so awe inspiring so creative so cool so mysterious. Filled with so much aura before aura became a thing. I remember the first Vidoc that came out and watching and saying wow this game is going to be incredible. Ever since then I’ve been getting involved with the lore buying merch playing other extraction shooter games. Then 2025 came around and I saw the alpha and Ill be honest the graphics didnt look the best but my god. The art style the gun play the engine the mechanics everything was well thought out. All that I’ve been watching now is the marathon Alpha. I dont want to make this too long but tldr I love love love marathon and I would love to be apart of making this game. I love the community and I wanna bond over all of this together. I love you bungie and I hope you can bless me but also others with many codes 🙂 🙁

Its not about them releasing early. The more people to get to playtest the better the feedback they can receive. Lots of people are straight up not playing due to their friends not being able to join them in the game. Infact the AI gets stronger while solo since you can’t handle the tougher enemies as easily, they just don’t finish you off if you get downed

From my experience arc players do talk a lot more, mostly because the game encourages it and sometimes you do need to team up vs arc units like the bison, rocketeers and Queen

Development for space marine 2 is still ongoing, the year 2 roadmap has been out for months, they keep adding new missions and cosmetics

I don’t think they need to keep players hooked tho, generally they can add content every few months and people will come back to check it out regardless, this is coming from someone who has does every piece of content in the game and still plays it

It’s a really weird “pseudo live service” thing, really the only thing the devs suck at is their balancing cuz some classes (Assault) still have perks that just aren’t picked regardless of scenario

Personally everyone else has wanted an apothecary, I was the only one who wanted a tech marine class
