I really liked the playtest earlier this year, I enjoyed the gameplay and world of marathon they were portraying. I never really played extraction shooters before (Mainly Console player) and it being basically a hero based extraction game at that was interesting, only thing close was BF2042's mode and Marathon was much better than that, even compared to DMZ from Call of Duty. The Companies sending you down to gather data and you basically being a sponsored merc was also cool. Its unfortunate about art and asset situation. but i don't get the hate marathon got in Alpha, sure a lot of feedback was valid but even then the game was good to play even as a slice of the full experience. hopefully we see whats next in the up coming test and the full next steps announcement likely in November

Devs said the game was boring. I can sorta see it, there isnt enough “arc” presence for it to be a full pve looter shooter. Just spamming wasps and rocketeers isn’t fun either its artificial difficulty. Played QUITE a bit of arc, if they had like 20 extra arc sure thats fine.
