What are peoples thoughts on how accessing the new terminals should work from a gameplay perspective?

Runner types more attuned to terminals may or may not have unique capabilities when interacting with them.

However from a gameplay perspective an extraction shooter is of course inherently tied to risk and by extension you would assume that anyone accessing a terminal is exposed to injury whilst doing so.

That said, Marathon has a rich lore history and terminal test may not always be short, exponentially increasing the risk of exposure.

Should Bungie lean into exploring this dynamic?

they're generated per account, so my assumption is that they're storing the discord user id or the way the dac generates is based upon the userid

either way, if you have the dac id along with the dac itself i think you'd be fine with it
