Well, in positive news; I started playing Monday, did Cryo for the first time Thursday, and have now successfully extracted from it 9 times, in crewfill. Still working on map knowledge, but I was the one that led every single successful extract. I'd say I'm like 65% confident on the map knowledge aspect.

I really think they should stop putting crewfilled randoms against premades, but w/e. Queue times would probably be in the tens of minutes for premades if that was the case.

Bungie acted like they did with Destiny because they had the opposite of that for years: they had a massive built-in player base all suffering from sunk cost fallacy brain because they had played the game for so many years that the idea of just putting it down or not picking up an expansion was alien to so many of them. I’m pinnacle and grinded in both pc and console (depended on what state I was in).

If on console turn on cross play TODAY. It’s better than 6 mans lmao.

For perimeter use the “perimeter” of the map. Stay in areas like east wall, around south relay, station, and north relay, and use the center building in columns. That building allows immediate rotation. Try to stay off POIs.

For outpost either strategize on controlling outside of pinwheel with sniper and mobility runners (vandal and destroyer are great).

Or get inside asap with at least 1 red card and prioritize information with recon and CQC with grenades, claymore entrance locking, and proximity sensors.

Dire marsh is just camping for key runs and exfilling.

I disagree some guns deserve rarity.

BUT they could make it so schemas are no longer weapon specific and their rarity lets you purchase certain items specifically.

They would have to adjust the schemas rarity to compensate tho.

I would personally add a scheme and a ganglion barter tab where you basically trade a schema of a certain rarity and some credits to get an item that correlates with that rarity

AND

Add a ganglion shop with every single yellow item in the game we can peruse through and buy what we want.

it's really easy. just use recon and toss her drone every minute. in 24 minutes, you have killed 24 bots or maybe more... (somtimes you get 2 bots with one spider drone) ... the point is that you stay hidden because as soon as you go aggro they start hunting you and then you risk losing but if you' have comfortable aim, you can just keep waiting for them to call in backup... if there's a hackable safe or vault they will usually arrive faster

edit: also i love recon and just following the drone of where to shoot the target.

edit 2: and use a lot of smoke grenades for cover. use the spider drone to point out where the targets are and just trust the optics when they show red (just shoot even if you can't see) Bot's can't do shit to you in smoke, but you can basically see them with your echo pulse and the drone.

UPDATE : so, after 3 matches at Dire (lose-everything-factory-Jr) Marsh, i actually succeeded in ambushing a key room and getting codex collectibles

upon a SUCCESSFUL EXFIL with the cryo kit, i did NOT get another one in the armory

so it might be that if you use the Cryo Kit (banned from ranked because no holo tag) on a normal map and DIE, you get another one in the armory until you "exfil with it"
