destiny 2 should have stopped making content after the final shape and focused on making destiny 3 (final shape basically concluded a lot of the core narrative beats covered and set up in d2 anyways).

instead they decided to make a massive money pit and release seasonal content and sub par dlcs that kept losing them money.

beyond light, forsaken, witch queen, and the final shape were all financial successes and lightfall and shadow keep were their only real financial failures.

IF they stopped at final shape the net profit of destiny 2 would have been great but they didn't and threw a lot of their profits into a money pit of dog water dlcs and a seasonal model.

It only really heals to 1750 hp if below 1750 hp.

So for example if it was at 600 hp it would heal up to 1750hp if you failed to kill it.

A solo can't carry the same number of loot as 3 people so not really, plus PvE is much riskier in solo so people just avoid it. Trying to do events/bosses hits your exfil rate hard unless you're a gigachad

Tarkov's ttk is more akin to tac shooters and is absurdly fast. It's honestly obnoxious. Marathon has actual reaction dynamics and counterplay imo.

A lot of shooters have ttks under 500 milliseconds hell battlefield 6's average ttk is like 200 millseconds.

I think it’s mainly just the entire game pushing pvp so hard that because of when cryo released. The entire “vibe” was all of the streamers having decked out loadouts and racing towards vault 7. So when people saw that, it was hype. But shortly after people realized that it was just really hard to reach. And really hard to build towards. So people eventually dropped off because of their lack of ability to invest hours upon hours of time to make up for the near constant losses

Rook is seriously not a rat though?? Like everything about Rook is how i want solos to play out. The moment i spawn in as a rook im free to sprint because i know i spawn away from teams (unlike solos having two players spawn on one location to force a fight)

Im pushed to move as Rook which makes rook gameplay feel a LOT more fun to me than solos. Because with solos anywhere I really go is gonna be met with somebody else being there. With that guaruntee i simply just have to play extremely slowly and sneak up on people and bring tons of pvp stuff.

With Rook i can just easily avoid teams because it means to me that players are forced to be congested with their team. So if I play solo it means that EVERYWHERE players are dotted around like chicken pox. It just sucks more than Rook

I also find more success in Rook runs than solos.
As a Rook I feel like I can go whatever pace I want. Teams have already died. I can find them and steal from them, and I'm normally least concern.

Solos is crouchwalking everywhere because if you don't, you get your head blown off instantly. Or it feels like it.

The PVP is very fun because 90% of your opponents talk trash and cope after being knocked, the long TTK leads to incredibly funny social interactions, the PVP is very high skill because it’s such a long TTK so the better player has all the time in the world to turn a fight in their favor

Big thing with me on meta changes are just to make certain weapons a little more powerful to keep up with the (currently) rare weapons. And then make it so that the drop rates are the same for each weapon so it doesn't feel like you're getting outclassed based on luck.
