If you run gold keys with any amount of frequency it’s very obvious that it’s real. The only people who don’t are people who aren’t at end game yet.

I like the idea of gear base match making but I still dont think it makes much sense. hell if you wanna run with 10k gear around a bunch of sponsored kits have a go at it. The sole fact that you're putting that on the line and will lose it if you die is enough to make it fair

Idk I haven’t seen anything of the sort and I’m in level 100+ lobbies see gold shields every game, still got out 5/6 times last night and opened 3 vaults

I think there are things that definitely need worked on but a lot of what’s suggested here is blatantly bad. You’re right though. Right now the game is incredible and it needs very specific tweaks for people to come back

Despite what the people here will tell you, if you’re at the upper limits of the sweaty players in this game you are playing a completely different Marathon than everyone else. The game is basically broken into two ecosystems right now. The super hardcore players are in their own queue where a gold key is the price of admission, and everyone else is playing the normie mode.

Yeah there’s the once in a while odd ball but generally most of us are just playing the game like everyone else

If people are stealing your gear off you, just don’t revive them if they go down. Exfil early if you don’t like your team and you’re still alive

There is no kbmm, key drops got buffed, even solo queues are opening rooms more often, you don't even need a key yourself get a lobby with someone trying to open rooms. Cryo LFG is full of people opening vaults too constantly
