Green reinforced shield literally take the same amount of damage to break when you calculate the dmg reduction as well. They just have the draw back of being the slowest shields to refill.

Brother I am sitting 700k credit and 300 green patchkits and shield charges with 200 blue shield charges and 130 patchkits. Half of this stuff is all thanks to rooking with a blue backpack letting me carry all the green and grey items Tau Ceti has to offer. The added carry capacity is trumping all green kits.

the way i see it, im rook. i have nothing anyway and imma play it risky. you gotta force some of those peple into bad spots to get them to walk into the claymores and get into your knife range. use their egos against them. ive gotten a few free pinwheels that way

run free kits in just normal dire marsh. no one brings anything good to sponsored dire marsh. kill someone take there sheild and maybe gun and what ever else then boom free kit to a green or blue or even purple one run, kill more then 1 perosn and bang 2 or more free kits in a run

If I need guns I rook on dire marsh because that map has three location with guaranteed arms lockers. If I need ammo there is the lead at complex/qurranteen, gunmetal from maintenance, volt batteries from bio research. Stuff for bartering meds is found both at greenhouse and algea pond. I am failing to see what can't you get as a rook but you can get as a person running the free green kit queue.
