i have been "teamed" 3x just today, twice in Cryo (doing keys and/or Arsenal) and once in Dire (doing keys)
as soon as you see the red tags on your screen of prox's getting groups together, you know you've gotta lock-in, although it helps that you know what they're planning
my Arsenal run today we managed to beat a teamup 2v6 because our 1 guy rage-quit after losing 30k backpack and didn't care if we rezzed him
we didn't get to loot them because they hawked us all the way to final exfil, but we did win the 2v6
(yes, it was me and kay, but i did nearly all the work)

i just also realistically think that the easy way to make those maps valuable would just be increasing keycard drops, especially for the high end side, and also buffing loot drops in UESC container hacks.

Of course we could all of a sudden have people cooperating in Cryo but I doubt that greatly. I don’t think will ever exfil on Cryo and I have had the game since release. Now with the 6 stacks it is even less likely.

no, lucas has always been against storylines where luke falls after the original triology even in the EU.

the entire point is the hero's journey being personified and the end result is technically the perfection. he resists all temptations, "sees light in the darkest cave", and is infallible to inspire hope that others can be better than what his father went through.

going against that grain to make a humanizing story defeats the entire purpose of what the original trilogy sought to do for the character. hence why it's bad; it breaks the only rule of the character design

Marathon doesn’t have aggression based matchmaking. In arc ya feel bad when ya kill the 40 year old dads just wanting to pve after a work day, and then eventually the game just throws you into the sweat aggressive lobbies where you’ll basically never be able to complete the pve contracts or gather missions without multiple other teams getting involved lol

The tutorial isn't a separate thing, you just sort of go in and do a run like you were going to jump in blind and it will put you in a short mini tutorial of sorts that explains the absolute bare basics, then after that its reading codex entries and item descriptions and sort of exploring.

One of my biggest issues with that one mission in Reach where you transport Cortana's fragment to the Piller of Autumn was how Halsey was being SUPER careful with Cortana's storage medium (H: "Do you have it?" N6: "Yes" H: "Say the words, please" N6: "I have it") to avoid even the possibility of it getting dropped or something, but then you're getting shot at and taking hits on your shields and jumping out of a Pelican with it (and OK you carry it in front of you to keep it from getting smashed but still that's some serious G-loading)
