For me, black ops 7 is actually good. They removed so much bs they added in black ops 6. Such as cartoony skins, overpowered guns, 1 lane maps.

They finally brought back good maps, made the guns balance in ranked, actually introduced an anti cheat that is good. Ranked COD at high levels where I play is in the best position it has been since black ops 4. Mw19 really ruined ranked for years.

For me Call of Duty isn't about the multiplayer all the time. 🤯
The main reason I absolutely adored Black Ops I and II is due to the story and the near absurdity of it at times. I can excuse the war glorification on that front.
However with Black Ops 7, the story is so easily clockable as written by AI. The assets rampantly use AI. The campaign is primarily one big Warzone map. It's not interesting and devoid of what the series was back then.

ok wait guys, i have an idea for a PVE only mode that i think would be a banger replacement for free kits. let me know what u think:

• perimeter for this example, but it could be any map. maybe even outpost so it goes faster
• you load in with nothing
• you can bring nothing, no special backpacks, w.e

the map is full of only white weapons and ammo. u can farm that stuff, then exfil. so u could farm that map to create ur own free kits and not be at the mercy of RNG. at the cost of having to play a mini game and manage to loot guns before PVE adds kill you on the map. it also creates good friction with other players because u cant kill them if they loot a POI faster than u

nothing green or up, no mats. this is just a mini game to do a grind for base weapons and ammo; if u want other special things for ur kit, go do rook runs.

this also helps noobs learn the PVE side of the game better and recognize the map spawns so they're not completely useless when they jump into real games with pvp
