I’ve never play extraction before arc and now marathon. I definitely love marathon leaps and bounds more. I am a destiny vet so it’s hard not to love bungie’s right as fuck gunplay and class design. The fact that we get another shell in season 2 already makes me nut. Bungie cooked hard with this game and people are missing by out on a damn gem from the hate . The cryo pvpve experience is another level of gaming I’ve never experienced.

It runs great for me. However, there is indeed optimization problems to some extents. I should not be at 65-70% GPU utilization and 60% cpu utilization with cranked settings. Also outpost and Cryo need another pass over for optimization. Especially Cryo. I can see how it would effect some people with less optimal CPU/GPU combinations

To be fair it is because Bungie is using The Door in the Face sales tactic to manipulate the player base to try to improve their reputation.

They know the community will reject these things: ranked/cryo on the weekends only, no solo play for cryo despite it being very obvious whenever your team gets wiped then you ARE SOLO “*Oh wait I could easily do this solo?”. The goal is to offer something you will reject so you slam the door in Bungie’s face, then Bungie comes back with the offer they always intended to give you (cryo solo and all week), then it farms 5k upvote Reddit posts saying “bravo Bungie for listening to the community!”
